If you like a great head shine that is non-greasy, try Fruit of the Earth 100% Clear Aloe Vera Gel. I found it at WalMart for about $5 a bottle. It dries fast and lasts all day. It makes the head shine like glass.

Strange as it sounds, I had a barber shave and he sprayed my dome with olive oil then buffed it. I've never had such a shine! I haven't tried it at home, but it seems cheaper than buying a lotion!

Yes it is. it's just the tea tree shower gel really, but such good quality. I don't think they do a facewash....?

I use HeadLube with SPF 30. It gives both a good shine and protection from the sun. It also doesn't feel greasy.
The olive oil shine that I mentioned below was really amazing, but one of our brethren here on the forum had a less than happy result with it!

I'm travelling around Ireland these days, so this morning I stopped at a Holland and Barrat store and bought a tube of the Dr Organics Double Strength Aloe Vera Gel, as suggested here. It is a really nice product, great shine, absorbs fast and leaves a totally non greasy skin. Thanks for the tip! So if you get a chance to grab one of these I would say go for it and give it a try
