Hello everyone, I am a new member to this forum and I am wondering if I should continue the look? I tried posting it to the gallery but it was not approved for some reason. The picture is now my profile picture. I started balding at the age of 17 and since then i have felt terrible. When I was training in A school for the navy I had my head bald the whole time an truth be told I felt alright. Now that I am not in a military installation I feel insecure and scared. What do you all think???

Bro, I think sometiems on a board like this opinions can be biased and everyone thinks everyone should be bald, but I can honestly say it looks really good from waht I can see in that photo.I wouldn't respond or say anything at all if I thought it looked bad.I honeslty think it looks very natural and good one you

Hey cool thanks alot man! I do have a small case of pointy head tho, its only really noticeable from certain angles. The only reason I am posting here is because I need some hardcore support to continue, being 22 it is so much harder. If only I was like 30 when it is at least a LITTLE more common ya know?

Looks good from what I can see, but need another pic to see your true baldness. It shouldn't matter what we think though; if you're good with it, then that's all that matters.

I will add a bunch of pictures to the gallery once they get authorized. Yeah now that you mention it the picture doesn't really show much.

And I realize it doesn't matter what other people think, but it helps me accept the process more once I know what the general public thinks, I am a weak, weak person haha.

you've done the BEST thing, bro. When I was your age I was just coming out of the army where I had kept my head close to shaved and was perfectly happy - I mean really it was a non-issue. As soon as I had to transition to civilian life I suddenly felt very insecure about my shaved head and made some very, very stupid decisions. You look good with the shaved head. Don't let anyone steer you in the direction of hair transplants that don't work and leave you with a giant scar (like mine), or gluing someone else's hair to your head. Did that too for a couple of years. Shaving it is the best and really the only way to go. You look great. Don't even give it another thought. You've found the answer and it doesn't cost thouands and thousands of dollars or restrict your lifestyle. Well done!

Wow, I am so sorry you went through all of that.I actually debated hair transplants but all I hear is horror stories. I did try taking proscar by dividing it up so the dosage would be similar to propecia but I swear it lowered my sex drive, and I decided I would take that over hair any day haha. I just wish we were in a society that didn't judge you because of a completely bald head, which is another thing I am so scared of, and Stu that was my A-school sweet heart haha. She is stationed overseas now.

Looks fine from what I can see. No need for you to feel insecure at all. Just stick with it; you'll become more comfortable with it in time. And remember that the payoff will come some years down the road when your contemporaries find themselves in the same boat, long after it's ceased to be an issue for you.

Oh yes Razor, I have thought about that alot. Sometimes I wish I could fast forward 10 years to where more of them might be going as well, but then again that is kind of a sad wish and only proves to me how much I obsess over something so petty. Oh well, I will have the last laugh when it comes down to it.
