Sounds like a copy of something I've seen before, which seemed like a gimmick to me, I believe it was called the "rolling razor?

Xnewyawka,
I can promise you there are no gimmicks with my product. I've shaved my head with just about every type of head shaving product there is. It's my policy to not directly bash any other products, but rather just point out my advantages. I can tell you my product is the greatest thing in the world until I'm blue in the face, but the only way to prove it is to turn skeptics into believers. I'd love for you to try my product and give your honest opinion of it after using it.

Rayzor, I didn't mean to be so skeptical so I will apologize if it seemed that way. I'm all for new products as well, and I often try new things myself.
It seems it would be hard going in to the market since it's such a small niche. As popular as headshaving is right now, it's still a tough area to break as evidenced with HeadBlade. There's only so much shelf space, and right now all I really see is the HB razor and Headslick most of the time.
CVS will sometimes have the triple refills, but very rarely.
I wish you the best and hope that you can either get some samples out, or actually put some in stores. Do you have any other way we can get info on your product?

No problem, and yes it is a tough market. The one thing I have going for me is that both women and men who don't shave their heads can also use this product. Currently, I only have online sales through my website
www.rayzorblade.com. We are working on upgrading the website and planning on getting it onto some store shelves soon. Thanks, Rayzor blade.

You know, I actually like the concept, and I would try it...here comes the but....BUT I'm not paying almost twice what a headblade cost. I understand that you are just starting up, but I'm just telling you my honest opinion. I bought my headblade for 10 bucks at Walgreens and it uses the same cartridges. You want 18 to ship me one and I don't see much difference in the two. Sorry dude. Hope it all works out for you.

Gambrinus,
Thank you for your honest opinion. Yes, my product is more expensive than the Headblade, but still very competitive. It cost more to make things in the USA than in China. Unfortunately, I only have online sales right now and that adds to the cost. As far as difference between the two products their are several.
User friendly, short learning curve, makes shaving easier rather than more difficult, shaves in both directions without repositioning the product, less rinsing and more shaving, more ergonomic design, you can shave your face with it, and if you got any closer of a shave you would have to take a layer of skin off.
The Rayzor is all about making the user's routine easier not more complicated.
I will be offering a promotional discount code to all my friends at Sly

I have been reading about this product and seeing this guys posts on a number of forums. On some forums they pretty much chewed this fellow up and spit him out - they were sort of on the rude side.
The website shows the prices really aren't that bad.
A Rayzor without blades is 10.99.
With a Gillette Custom Plus 12.99
With a Gillette Sensor 14.99
I see guys spend way more than this on razors. I understand this razor can use the Gillette Custom Plus 3's which also work on the Head Blade and many folks here like - they are cheaper than the Sensors and some reports say they shave as close if not closer. See The Custom Plus 3 Trick thread
http://www.slybaldguys.com/smf/index.php?topic=12894.0I plan to get one of these and a Head Blade and compare them. It will probably take me a couple of months but I'll report back when I do the review. Money is tight for me too, I don't like to waste it. I have heard really bad reviews for other razors like the Infinity Razor - at least this is not a scam product. I think it's worthy of more peoples attention so the consumer base can get a better sense of how good the product really is (or not). I did a search and could not find one Head Blade vs Rayzor Blade review anywhere.

I've spent so much money on razors its ridiculous. I actually don't see this as expensive at all. Especially since you don't have to then the contraption around when going ATG. Might even have more control too. I know a lot of people that hated when wheels came with the HB. Maybe this is the best of both worlds . Will give it a try

Two years ago this company said they were trying to get into stores, so I wrote them to see if they have made any progress. Turns out they are offering free shipping, perhaps to everywhere, even the UK.
Here is the letter and reply I got.
The Letter
I am a member of a forum for bald guys. I was wondering if the Rayzor is in any stores yet?
I know at least one gentleman in the UK that is interested in seeing them there. I supposed he is afraid of the shipping from the U.S. being real expensive, especially for a product he cannot see demo'd locally.
As a head shaver I am happy to see more alternatives than just regular razors, the head blade or the Dovo. I plan to try your product soon.

Currently we are only available online. We have free shipping right now. I'll double check if it is free for international shipping too, but I'm pretty sure it's free shipping everywhere. I hope you will give it a shot.
Best Wishes,
