God, I hope i never lose my eyebrows, I think I would cry, lol. My eyebrows are one of my favorite features about myself. I know that seems weird, but my ex-wife was obsessed with eyebrows and she got me to the point where that's one of the first things I notice about people. Eyebrows are an important part of how you look, they can change your entire face. For example, someone with low eyebrows looks mean. A woman with high eyebrows with a sharp peak in the middle looks bitchy. It's just cool to me how drastic eyebrows can change the entire look of someone's face.

Yeah, I agree with you here man.  Eyebrows can make a big difference in people's appearance.  I hope I never lose mine either.  I'd probably always looked surprised or something like that.   :o

They are growing in.  They now look like they were overtrimmed (to those who don't know the real story!) but they are definitely back.  Should be back to normal in about another week, I'd say.  Not that they are that visible, anyway.

I shaved my eyebrows off today. I have shaved them before but I had a flat top in those days I don't think eyebrows are that imprtant

Before I went SLY I was trimming my eyebrows down pretty short.  Mainly because they were getting really light and some of the hairs were just getting too wild looking.  It just seemed easier to keep them trimmed.  I don't think I would ever shave them completely.  I've continued to trim them, just not as short now.

On a side note, at the request of my wife, I shaved my goat yesterday.  I'll try to post a new pic soon.  She didn't like it (and I somewhat agree) because it wasn't very thick and in the last couple of years it turned really gray.  It definitely detracted from the "clean" look.  I still can't decide whether I like this totally clean look or if I'll try to grow it back in some form.  For the time being I'll keep the face shaved since the wife has been pretty good about the shaved dome.  It's all about compromise... 8)

I'm in the same boat...the brows are going thinner, but a few 30-lb test fishing line grey ones pop up overnight it seems. the barber catches the strays...and my goatee attempts are always patchy and look weak. Tried several times, but after even a month, it's no good. Thinks it's a message to go sly once the ear, nose, brow and back hairs get a mind of their own? Maybe that should be my cue to take the next step. I think if I'd could sprout a healthy goatee, I'd have an easier time shaving the dome instead of trimming to #1 blade.

Hey I totally understand.  I was really apprehensive about being totally SLY with no facial hair.  But, I must say that after a day it is turning out to not be that big of a deal.  Sometimes I think that I like it better this way and then five minutes later I look again and think I should try to grow the facial hair back.  But I have still not wanted to grow the hair on the dome back.

You really should just give it a try.  You'll never know for sure unless you see for yourself.  I bet you too will say it was not that big of a deal. O0

You know I don't grow much facial hair either (Think Johnny Depp) but I like how it looks and I think most guys look good with some facial hair. I just shaved my eyebrows and I shave the rest of my body as well ( don't like body hair) Still I keep and will keep the goat such as it is. AS for grey there is  Just for Men

I've tried the "Just for Men".  I have some in my medicine closet right now.  Just couldn't ever get the color to look right.

The formula hasrecently changed a bit so that it colors the grey only. The other thing they recommend is that you go a shade lighter than you think you are. I consider that my hair when I had any was dark brown but JFM dark brown looks nearly black on me which is fine since I have no hair and now no eyebrow who cares what color the goat is right?

I don't think eyebrows are that imprtant

Actually, eyebrows do serve a purpose beyond defining the forehead and helping to convey facial expressions/body language (making it harder to tell a lie) and keeping shaving lotion out of the eyes of sly guys...  Back when I was playing, being on stage under all those very hot lights, I would sweat profusely and there were many times that even my big, thick brows weren't enough of a dam to hold back the sweat from flooding my eyes.  Man that hurts and makes it hard to maintain the focus on the part your playing too.  Not to mention focusing on the chicks on the dance floor!  mmm...  bouncy bouncy  ^-^
What was I saying?  Oh ya, I think that is their primary purpose for me.   ;)

Yes you are right, but in my case none of those conditions  cited above are really relevant to me in this stage of my life.  Chicks are not my thing and I don't sweat that much.

I've got very thick eyebrows that join in the middle so I would ideally like to remove the hair in the middle that still looks fine but not feminine.

I don't think it is a big deal either way. Mine are gone. It's a strokes and folks kind of an issue.

Andre, Who's Tim? I don't see a Tim posting on this thread?

Anyway I believe that shaving eyebrows is a form of self-mutilation.
Headshaiving is way cool. Shavin' the brows is way NOT!!
Shak is right about it looking kinda "feminine"!!

By the way, Mr. Gallagher and Mr. McClane look like you could be bros. Awesome look-a-likes!
