I posted on here that I been going crazy with the shadow that I have after shaving my head, but there is more to it now. When I shave my head and I think I have everything pretty much smooth, but there is issues when I have my head dry afterwords it seems like I have this stupid stubble. It is like I am not shaving it right or something , and I think that if shave it any more then what I do to get rid of the stubble or whatever that I am going to shave my skin right off my head.
What am I doing wrong here ?? and by the way I am using the headblade sport and headslick to shave my head.
You said in an earlier post that you had a lot of thick hair.Because of that you will have a shadow. There is no way around that except maybe time. The problem with the stubble ,a sharp razor and going ATG is the answer. But then because of the thick hair it will take more going over with the razor. Most of us have much less hair and it becomes an easier job. A full head of hair takes more time to shave.
When the skin dries it does pull back from the hair. A good moisturizer will help some but dude, your hair is still going to grow!

Try not to obsess, I know, I fight it too. If I could kill all the hair at the roots I would! The good news is, from feeling smooth right after the shave throughout the rest of the day it
looks the same. Only you know it's getting rough up there.
Perhaps you should try different blades on your HB, besides shaving ATG. Better preparation can also make a difference.
You don't say when you shave, it makes a difference. If you can wait 45-60 minutes after waking up or go to the gym first, then you'll find it smoother and longer lasting.
