Welcme to the Forum IK! Even without seeing a photo of you I'm betting you DO look better shaved.
Peace.......

Tri Nivea for Men revitalising moistriser
Thank you for the welcome everyone! I will get a photo up as soon as my scalp has adjusted to the shaving. At the moment, it hates it and is slightly spotty.
I guess some of that is down to me trying to hide my baldness for so long. I used hairspray for the last 2 years and my scalp did NOT like it. I'm guessing it needs to recover from that ordeal still?
Hey you lot! I just wanted to pop in to say I'm doing well with it all, and hopefully give some others inspiration. The irritation went quickly, and as my experience and technique has developed, I get a closer shave with less irritation.
My one tip is conditioner! I use the 34p a bottle stuff from Sainsbury's, because it works well with my head, and is cheap! Much easier to use than shaving cream/foam.
I wanted to say thanks for all the advice, and it's a great community for people!
Anyway, I promised photos... (It's been a while, I know) - Here I am!

Yep, just back the other day - It was fantastic!
I should really post up a 'before' photo, but it's too embarrassing! I've left that look firmly behind now, and have to say I get a LOT more (positive) attention now!
Welcome to the boards!
My advice on the moisturizer is to use half-and-half water and Fruit of the Earth vitamin E lotion when you get out of the shower. Make sure to rub it in really well, and then use Witch Hazel (a widely available astringent) in liberal amounts on your head to lock in the moisture. Witch Hazel closes up the pores, and if you let it air dry on your head, it leaves a nice, non greasy, low-shine look. Good luck!
Wow - looking really good!
