Is it just me or is the summer heat a
"challenge" to anyone else's
NORMAL shaving routine?...
I've been noticing
MORE razor burn and razor nicks during these
HOT summer months, no matter how fresh the blade or how careful I am....

I imagine it's the
UNBEARABLE HEAT taking it's toll on the 'ol melon....
.just wonderin' if anyone else has been experiencing the same...
But then again.. I do work mostly
outdoors...
-Cap'n Noodles -It really sucks!!!
I have yet to experience winter head shaving as a comparison, but I have not had any nick / bump shaving issues since I got over the initial first week of shaving which was just over 6 weeks ago. I live in Texas so it is really hot here but I shave in the comfort of an Air Conditioned home.
No problem with the shaving , but it sure feels refreshing when I do.
No problem here............ maybe try shower shaving if you don't currently do it???
It has been hot and humid, and lately I've gotten a few little bumps for some reason particularly at the top of the shadow. They only last a day or two, but I'm having to give extra attention to them. I think it's because I've been sweating more than usual because of the extraordinary--even for New Orleans--humidity. Mostly I seem to sweat in the shadow & I think that may be causing it.
But, only about 6 more weeks until October and we'll get a few cooler days--80+ at 5 in the morning really sucks.
Well, I've noticed a few more nicks than normal this summer....wanna know why?
It's because I've been shaving over a few ****** mosquito bites!

Man I hate those things.
the one thing i noticed while scraping my grape on hot humid days is i was sweating more in doors. i suggest going slow and keeping the sweat in check and if need be use a salicylic (sp?) acid wash before hand to clean the dome followed by a scrub of some kind. post scrape peroxide or witch hazel to further clean the pores.
No problems here. I must say that I do notice perspiration more than before I started shaving.
