Our country demands all our strength, all our energies. To resist the powerful combination now forming against us will require every man at his place. If victorious we will have everything to hope for in the future. If defeated, nothing will be left for us to live for.

They're both so bad for you but if I do indulge it's Pepsi!  O0

I cannot stand the taste of cola anymore. I had a can a few weeks ago for the first time in over a year because I couldn't find any water; it tasted terrible. I do like the taste of Mountain Dew (diet).

I used to work for RC Cola and Coca Cola each for several years. During a two week period between those jobs, I worked out of the union hall and was assigned to Pepsi for a week and 7UP the next week. RC and Coke both gave us a case of pop each month (and all you could drink on the job). I really think I just got sick of drinking pop all the time.

Remembering the sight of the rail tankers full of corn fructose lined up outside (it was the 2nd largest Coke plant in the country-two lines filling 1800 cans per minute) makes me sick to think about it. I think I will stick with water.

Coke from a can or the small glass bottles you can found here and there. The plastic bottles/2 liters ruin the throat thrashing, nose blasting carbonated fizz I have learned to love since a wee youngin'        :D

Pepsi Max.  I don't drink a lot of soda, but when I do, LOVE that stuff.

I live in GA, home of Coke.  Need I say more?!

Down here the term "coke" is generic.  If you go somewhere and ask for a coke, they'll ask you what kind.

Nice.
Yes you have to drink Coke in you live in Atlanta. I think you have to know how to make at least 2 meals using Coke as an ingredient too.
I love Coke for the nostalgia and old print ads, especially the Norman Rockwell type ads, and the pinup ads. Childhood memories of coke enjoyed at family gatherings are highlights in my life.
Back then we all drank Coke and none of us were fat, it was refreshing and not bad for you, it added life and we did stuff when we drank it, instead of sitting around on our butts drinking the Super Big Gulp turning into tubs of lard, and back then we we didn't have the obesity and diabetes problems like today, we also didn't have diet coke.

Never seen a recipe for Pepsi Ham !!

Coca-Cola / Atlanta Baked Ham

1 (7 lb.) half or whole ham
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
5 tbsp. peanut butter
2 tsp. horseradish
18 to 25 whole cloves
1/2 c. coca cola

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Bake ham 25 minutes per pound for a half ham, or slightly less for a whole ham. Combine mustard, brown sugar, peanut butter, and horseradish. Mix well and set aside. When about 45 minutes baking time remain, remove ham from oven. Trim off rind (there is not rind on Hormel 51) and fat. Pour excess fat from pan. Stud top of ham with cloves, and spread with mustard sauce. Pour Coca Cola in pan and return to oven, basting ham several times with pan juices.

P.S. Pour the coke gently as not to disturb the hard crust that is beginning to form.

And a simpler version:

½ ham (5-6 lb.)
1 cup brown sugar
1 ½ cup Coca-Cola®
1 cup crushed pineapple

Wash ham thoroughly. Rub fat side with brown sugar. Pour Coca-Cola over ham.
Pour crushed pineapple over ham. Bake at 450 degrees for 3 hours. Makes 6 servings.

Sift flour and sugar into a bowl. Heat butter, cocoa, and Coca Cola to boiling point. Pour over flour and sugar mixture. Add buttermilk, soda, eggs, vanilla, and marshmallows; mix. Ice cake while hot with following icing for Coca Cola Cake.

i must be weird i can drink either Regular Pepsi or coke but don't get near me with a diet soda of any kind they all have a lab taste to them. i have found with experimenting with alternative sugars that anything that is not real sugar or cane sugar taste like a lab to me.

Diet coke for me, preferably Diet Coke with Lime. Coke Zero is OK as well. When I'm on vacation and splurge, it will be regular Coke. Occasionally I'll go for Diet Dr. Pepper.

In a restaurant, I'll order "Diet Coke". If the response is, "is Diet Pepsi OK?" I respond with "No, water is fine". I think they're used to hearing that because they don't bat an eye. The whole Pepsi family is way too sweet to me.
