How the hell did you do that? Was you going really fast and not paying attention?
That hurts my head looking at those pictures. Kinda the way it hurts a man to see another man get kicked in the nuts.

Give yourself enough time when you shave and do not press down

Don't feel too bad, brother. I tried the Headblade 3 times before giving up - each time I looked like an extra in a zombie movie - blood running down my face. I must just be too ham-handed for a HB. I'm only safe as long as I have 3 or more blades on the razor sliding across my scalp.

Looks like you were doing 'wheelies' with that HB. It looks painful.

Been there (more than once).
Done that (more than once).
You would think I would've learned my lesson (but N-o-o-o-o-o-O...)

I used to do that back in the days of the Two-Blade Classic Headblade. I gave up on the HB in 2007. When I went sly this time around, the Sport with 3 blades works for me just fine. Better than fine. The more I use it, the easier it gets.

It's painful looking at those pics. Ouch!
I've used the Head Blade now about 5 times. I'm new to shaving my head and new to Head Blade. I've been using electric for my face for the last 15 years, so I 'm out of practice shaving with any kind of razor. Luckily, I haven't even had so much as a nick or minor cut. I was worried about it at first, but I quickly learned that slow and steady (and a Head Blade) works well.

Just took a good scrap of skin off behind my ear... you would think I could follow my own advise about not obsessing about a rough spot!

bbqguy - That was the boat I was in... minus a few years. I wouldn't even shave my face with a razor - always used an electric. So when I started shaving my head, I used one of those three-headed circular electrics for the first 2 years. But it just never got close enough, and I'd get 5'o'clock shadow at Noon. I honestly think HeadBlade is best in scenarios like yours (and mine). It's like learning to drive on a manual transmission... if you learn that first, it's much more natural than starting with automatic, then trying stick. Learning to shave your head with HeadBlade is the best way.. in my opinion. I totally understand guys that are used to shaving a certain way, and HeadBlade is just too foreign of a motion for them. Keep up the great look... and glad HeadBlade works for you!
Timmer ... I always love to hear from guys that didn't enjoy the Classic, but picked up a Sport and the rest is history. It's an interesting mix. There's a lot of guys here on SBG that prefer the Classic to the Sport. I guess it's all personal preference, like everything else!

Eric. When something works for me, I tend to talk about it. I do wish you guys would make a Headslick that wasn't mentholated though. Some days the menthol feels good, others, not so much. Maybe something with aloe.
