I just wanted to introduce myself to ya'll. I have been lurking(like everyone else) for a few months. I started loosing my hair when I was 23 years old. I had full blown MPB by 30. I always kept my hair pretty long in the back. I would wear a pony tail every now and then. I listened to all the bald jokes but never thought much about it until I saw a photo online that was taken at a meeting that I did not know was being taken. The photo was from the back of the room. I knew where I was sitting but could not find myself and then my wife pointed me out. I was floored. I could not believe how goofy my head looked. I told my wife that for my 40th birthday I was going to shave my head. Her remark was "You should have done it 10 years ago."
Well, I did it and she was right. I should have done it 10 years ago. I can't believe how free I feel by not having my horseshoe ring. I did not think it bothered me at the time, boy was I wrong. I love it and will not have hair again. Let me reword that, I love it and will not have a horseshoe again.
Great site, I feel like I already know a bunch of you guys just from reading the forum for so long. Looking forward to joining in on some conversations.... -
