looking for a new style... advice
« on: July 31, 2010, 06:25:00 AM »
Yea so I am looking for a new style. I guess...

so yea I'm 25 and that photo was last year. Anyways over the last year hair in front gone. No big deal I suppose, but dealing with the sudden"identity change" and "self image" issues is pretty challenging so far. But I have a good face ;)

So trying to figure out what the hell to do to boost my confidence... so style wise I don't know looking for advice.

anyways hate to use neil strauss, but I like his laid back clothing style and with jason stathom I like how he usually is dressed pretty nice and the grizz on the face that is same length as hair. It's just easier.

I don't know... sorry this is so trifling topic and in reality its a dumb problem to have.

also anyone got good tips on shaving your head. Man I fucking suck at using a razor. I do it maybe like 1 every 1-2 months for the hell of it and i always get cuts or ingrown hairs or something.

Another thing does anyone ever use like jergins natural glow on their face and head? I have been doing it to minimize the paleness of my scalp. lol still a pussy to go out without a hat on so I don't get a lot of sun and I'm a student and my pt job allows me to wear a hat too.

again its the self image thing and even though people know I am bald it is just weird the idea of running into people (eg: college/ highschool friends, ex gf's) when I look different

I don't think it's trifling at all.... when you know you look good, you feel good!

Ditch the over-sized, baggy, ripped duds and get yourself some quality clothing. Don;t know if you're sly yet, but do the deed, dress up, and look at yourself in the mirror. Guaranteed you'll like what you see.

Agreed, the beach roamer look works for the teenagers but you're 25, it's sort of like mutton dressed as lamb.  Time marches on and that look isn't complimentary.  There are other casual styles that work for your age.  Keep working on your shaving technique--look at the shave your head threads--lots of good stuff there.

Dude, with the right attitude, you could wear a trash bag and look good.  Okay, maybe not that extreme but seriously, wear what you like and rock that sly confident look!  O0
