I don't know if this has been discussed before, but I found that I can shave in the shower without a mirror, and pretty much take care of shaving my dome. I found that it's sort of a braile kind of thing - shave/feel, shave/feel. The daily stubble that I have is pretty much a little like velcro, and when it's off, I have a smooth area. So, tracking down the rough spots is a matter of course.
Has anyone experienced the same?
hey nonick: i am a shower shaver, also and i don't need a mirror when shaving my dome. however.... i do use a mirror when i shave the face because i don't want 2 mess up the "goat" area. like U... i go by the braille method of head shaving.

WARHAWK
Make that three. My first two passes I don't feel till after I have went over. Then on the third go round. I put some cream on my hand and start hitting the left overs by feel. The face is still done in the sink, in front of a mirror.
Same here fellas. I've been shaving without a mirror since I started, and once you get used to the feel it becomes very natural.
Like Warhawk, I shave my face at the sink so I can keep my goatee line straight.
Shave at the sink to shave water and use the feel then check by look method. I use a small bowl to clean the razor.I'm a conservationist or at least I try.
Me too, I'm a shower shaver... though I do like a mirror when shaving around the ears and like Warhawk said, around the goat!
same her shave dome in the shower with no need of mirror - shave....feel...shave...feel . Have to use the mirror for the face to save my goat!!!!
Shower here too. My hand (aka braille shaver) is a better judge of where I need to touch up, than trying to look through that streaming water at where there is a bit of 'velcro' left. The hand will tell you, better than any mirror. I do the face. around the Goatee, at the sink, what a waste of time. I truly think I could do that in the shower too. Been shaving this mug for many decades, I think I know where everything is.
I do not use a mirror in the shower. I'll feel around for areas I missed and touch up as required. No mirror for face shaving either.
I actually do both, If I got time I like to shave by feel in the shower then "touch up" in front of the mirror when I do my face. Call it a fear of leaving a sideways moehawk or something

, of course I don't shave every day so when I do if I miss a spot it can be seen

.
Shower and Headblade is the perfect combo. 3 minutes or so and I'm done. No mirror? No problem.
