Slight change = better shave

So yesterday I made a slight change to my shave routine sort of on a whim.
First I shaved with my HB and HeadSlick with the grain. Nor mally I would then shave against the grain and then finish up with some Apricot Scrub.
But this time after shaving with the grain I used the Apricot Scrub.... then I shaved against the grain. Whoa! Talk about smooth. Then I applied a little BaldGuyz Moisturinzing Gel. Six hours later I was STILL pretty smooth. My wife even noticed the difference.
So I tried it again today with the same great results.

Great tip! I tried it this morning and normally I can feel a lot more growth than what I have now. Thanks for the tip!

I usually use a scrub first to bring up the hairs before I shave them. I'll give your tip a try tomorrow and see how it goes!

Day 2 of using Mike's approach. Definitely a better shave. Thanks again Mike for the tip!
How's the book coming? I'm in the final rounds of edits from the publisher. My book will be on the shelves on May 15th.

I've tried this my last couple of shaves with some generic face scrub, and I have to say it makes my head feel much cleaner than doing it before my first pass.

This seems to work w/ the loofah pad also, after the first pass, a rubdown w/ the pad, then the second. Thanks, Mike.

The only time anything called "loofah" is touching my skin is if I decide that's my wife's new pet name.......................

I don't know, it's a natural veggie kind of thing, see: luffa, loofah, or lufah (from Arabic لوف) : in google search. I like it, always have, maybe it's a Southern thing.

Hmmm, perhaps it is time to invest in some scrub or a loofah...

Another one for using a loofah here. Works great with which ever regular wash or soap you use in between passes. I have used headhead in between passes and would definetley agree with what's being said it provides that little bit smoother feel
