Updated pic of my number nothing!
Walking from home to the train station this morning through uni i felt a bit uneasy. Got a few looks but think they were for the right reasons (heres to hoping). Work people didn't even notice (as i had the no guard done since last week) and just got on with. Checked the mirror a few times to make sure it was still me.. On the way home saw a fellow sly guy at the station. We both looked at each other for a bit then smiled - think he might well be from this site as looked really familiar!
Think I look a bit tougher now as people seem to be a lot nicer.. ?! "better be nice to sly bald guy" thoughts instead of "don't need to worry about the balding dude" thoughts... not sure if this is something really happening or me over analysing it but its interesting to see how peoples perceptions of you change so quickly

Wow, looking good and cool with that shaved bald head. Yes you do look tougher and people will treat you with more respect especially if your dressed in conservative clothes. We all knew you were going to love your newly shaved head and will enjoy it from now on. Keep it sly brother, good luck and congratulations.

Man, I wish I looked that good with no hair!
(By the way I think what he means by "conservative clothes" is just well-dressed... polo shirts, button downs, etc. instead of say, hoodies and sweat pants)

Hairtoday is about right. When I say conservative clothes, I mean dressy clothing. A white or baby blue shirt, dress slacks etc. I think your clothing compliment your shaved bald head very well, and peoples reactions are more positive if your wearing the right clothing. I'm not much of a blue jean person, and I alway wear business type clothing becuase of my line of work. But I alway get great reveiws and comment.
A cousin who just went bald, but always wear blue jeans and black t-shirt told me most people look at him as if he were a member of a gang and their reactions are hostile. I must be right.

I agree on the 'conservative clothes' thing: just 'smart casual', you don't have to be dressed up. It projects a more friendly image: sharp and sly.

Really, so if I wear a "baby" blue shirt and sport some hagar slacks a.k.a. conservative clothing that people will show me more respect as well as more positive reaction than less say than I wear blue jeans, a hoodie and my danner boots

there is absolutely no validity to that whatsoever. I'm as conservative as they come and I was taught it is how you carry yourself and as well walk with a purpose.

I have also been wondering about what clothing would look better with a sly dome. Obviously there are certain clothes that are going to suit sly guys better. Like i saw in another thread I think we can all pull off a suit pretty damn well. "sly and sharp" as has already been said in here.
As for day to day clothing I have felt the need since going sly to keep myself well groomed and have become more aware of what clothing I wear.. I have just been dressing WELL. Clothes that match, are co-ordinated, nothing too difficult, just making sure I look good and feel good about what I'm wearing, thats probably all you need to worry about. If it feels good, then do it!!
p.s hairtoday - you should change your screen name to hairyesteryear!! and i think you rock the sly look.. do yourself a favour and get in the sunlight and take a pic.. you'll be pleasantly suprised!!

Clothes can enhance a certain look but I'm with Ryan, it's about your presentation. Dressing up like something you're not is for posers!
