Hey all, how's this for shaving expertise? I did this last night whilst shaving in preparation for work. I did it with a HeadBlade Sport, the one with the matchbox wheels, and I had equipped it with an HB Triple. I think the problem that I have with the Sport model is that I get the razor moving too fast because there is not enough drag and THIS is the result. Not the first time for this. I think I'll stick with the Classic/Ghost. I wish I would have thought to take a picture when there was blood.
There was a flap of skin that I had to manually remove from between the blades of my HB Triple cart in order to clean it! Yucky! Didn't taste as good as I thought it would, either.
For people new to the sly life.....I have been scraping the skull for over 10 years. I still make the occasional big mistake like this one. So don't get discouraged by a few nicks and cuts. Just invest in a
good electric for those times when a blade should not be your first choice in the battle against stuuble. My trusty Panasonic ES8243K will be in service tonight.
That hurts even when I'm only looking at the picture.
Happened to me when I switched from the HB triples to the doubles. Scalp/Off!
Lesson learned: Always pay attention no matter how trained I'm feeling.
It's true guys! We all do it.... just hope that it's not too bad when it happens!
no headblade no cuts......that's if you use citizen smooth shave cream, bald guyz shave gel or headslick.
I was in my local Rite Aid to get their version of the Atra blades. They were out, so I bought the HeadBlade brand triple refills. The first time I used them, I also gouged a flap of skin on the side of my head. That has now healed. But the other day, I was driving my delivery truck at work. So I was feeling my smooth dome...or so I thought. I didn't realize it but I had cut the other side of my head above the ears. It actually didn't hurt. But I had a nice big scab that formed. So I went to a convenience store and bought some Band Aids. I am not sure I am going to keep going with the triples. I did better with the doubles!
The same incidents happen for me from time to time.

you can go months with no cuts, then you get a little too confident and slice the noggin. i find it always happens when I'm rushing and a slower shave is a safe shave.
You are not the only one and it will happen again - - -we have all cut ourselves at one time or another - -just be careful - - -
How many times have you cut your face while shaving? same thing - - - -But the dome is tender so be MORE careful - -
