Caladryl for razor burn?
« on: February 09, 2010, 11:13:41 PM »
For those who dont read intros, I've only been sly for 4 days now.  I've shaved three times in those four days, but still only four days.  I dont usually get razor burn or bumps on my face so I didnt have a solution for my head when it started to burn during shaving.  Mostly on the back of my head where I would repeatedly go over the same spots for the stubborn stubble.
Well anyway I asked my wife if she used anything for razor burn and she gave me a bottle of Caladry clear lotion.  I rubbed it all over my head and the stinging instantly disappeared.  I even have numerous small skin tags that were irritated and swolen from shaving, and they too went down instantly.

I used it ever since ( three more shaves) and have no prob with razor burn or bumps.

I've looked though a lot of these forums and haven't read anything about Caladryl.

I dont have enough experience to know if it works for sure or not.....But for now it seems to work for me.

Let me know if there are any cons to this.

Scott

This is a great tip Scott. I don't have a problem with razor burn but a lot of guys come here asking about it.
