well Honnestly, I did not do anyting wrong. I find that shaving with a razor is just easier and you REALLY CONTROL how you shave imo. However, I understand that for many people, it works fine!!!!

You'll find the razor that works best on your scalp, whether it is a "conventional" like MachIII, Fusion or M5 or maybe you'll go for the specialized blades like HB.  The whole thing comes down to what gives you the best, smoothest and most lasting shave.

I'm curious, as I've heard similar stories from other new headbladers who broke their adapter, how much hair did you have going in the first place? If it was quite a bit of growth then that might have been the issue, I know I damn near scalped myself when I went to use my headblade after about 10 days of stubble, so that might have been the issue.

Also, and I'm sure the other headbladers out there will agree: STROKE-RINSE-STROKE-RINSE!

You have to remember that you're shaving a hell of a lot more hair off your head than you would your face, so even the triple blades get clogged up pretty much instantly.
Mother nature only created so many perfect heads, the rest she covered in hair...

Yes, Stroke Rinse Stroke Rinse is the way to do it.

The best tool for the job!

Once you have mastered the technique it really is effortless. With time, your fingers know how much pressure is required, and always keep the wheel end down if you're using a Sport (pad end for the Classic).
I alternate between different razors, but I find when I come back to the HB, I always think to myself how amazing it is.

You've got to give it time and go slow at first.

As far as durabilty, I've had my Sport for over two years now and have only had the black adaptor break when it dropped in the shower. No other problems whatsoever.
I also have a Classic that I've had no issues with as well.
HeadBlade makes a great product and I endorse it wholeheartedly.     O0

I broke a couple of adaptors when I first started using the HB. I applied too much lateral pressure when changing blades and snapped off the tabs that catch and hold the cart. When I learned to slow down I stopped breaking adaptors.

I personally use a combo of the gillette fusion and the head blade.  I use them both some areas are better with the fusion I like to touch up with the headblade after using the fusion going against the grain for super smooth slickness.

Pick your shaving device get comfortable with it get into the groove of a regular routine do good prep work, lather good, rinse shave rinse shave rinse as others said, and rock that Sly look with pride.

I love coming into the Forums and seeing other HeadBladers chiming in.  As someone mentioned, we stand behind the HeadBlade 100%... but we realize, it's not for everyone.  If you want to give it another go, send an email to info@headBlade.com, and we'll get those adapters replaced at no charge.

Regarding blades, I was with Tyler for a long time.  I actually didn't know HeadBlade made Triple Blades til I started working here.... oops.  I used Gillette Sensor for years. I've been using the HB Triples for a few months now, and I love them.  Like anytime you change a blade, it takes a few shaves to adjust, but I highly recommend them.
