We're going as a Family over the Holidays. Turns out Michael Oher is quite a football player too...... he's looking good for my Ravens

I had heard in a review that a lot of info of Oher's past was omitted from the film to make the focus on Sandra Bullock as the star of the movie. That may be the case, but based on the info presented in the movie, Oher clearly had it rough and overcame a lot to get where he is and the Touhy family was very generous with their life choices.

I read a story about the guy back when he was drafted last winter. He has truly overcome an incredibly bad early life. That being said, after watching him and hearing about him locally since he was drafted, he is genuinely a great guy. Very humble, kind, and appreciative....... and just a beast on the field.
Oher and the Ravens other young tackle, Jared Gaither, shut out Freeney and Mathis in the sack department yesterday.

I was on the Ravens' bandwagon last year since my team's wagon doesn't have any wheels.
Gotta say, Oher appears to be an easy guy to root for.

You were on the Ravens wagon last year because as i recll.... they won you a serious bit of cash.

By the way... nice win for the Raiders yesterday........
