Cliff Lee is such an inspiration. What a great display at such a difficult stadium.

Math Guy: youre off my X-mas list. But seriously: A great pitching display by Lee. Im more upset, as a Yank fan, by Hughes and the relief staff giving up 4 runs in a close game. Bruney never should have been in there.

Even the runs given up in the 8th & 9th didn't matter, Philly would have won 2-1.
Lee was sick.
Can't believe I'm cheering for a national league team but then again, it's the Yankers we're talking about.

Lee is a bloody monster out there. God bless him. To bad Rollins cost him a shutout with that bad throw to first. I'm sure J Ro felt pretty bad about it.....

TomG, after last nights game, it pains me to say this, but the Yankees don't stand a chance against your Phillies, especially with Lee on the mound.

RazorX, your so right. "What a great display at such a difficult stadium."
If Pedro has his stuff tonight, including his diminutive good luck buddy, it's curtains for Pinstripes.

Have to agree about Lee, that was awesome. While Rollins did have a bad throw, there wasn't much effort to catch it at 1B. If he had jumped a little higher I think he could have had it.

Ya know, I thought the same thing PP. Howard didn't even jump for it.

As a lifelong Yankee fan the bull pen let us down for sure. Jeter 3-4 with another solid performance. I think A-Rob felt the pressure and became A-Rod of old. The HBG still predicts yanks in 7
