I think Rusty has a point. But I think J_B had a good start. All you have to do is stick to your guns brother! You have set the tone now, keep it up. All uss SLY guys are behind you 150%!

First thing I bought when I moved to Minnesota was a rabbit fur covered Elmer Fudd hat with flaps.

(The rabbit wasn't using the fur anymore). That is the ONLY thing even when I had hair that kept my head warm when the temp hit negative 40 degrees not including the wind chill.
By the way, nobody should ever have to learn by experience that negative 40 is the point at which celcius and fahrenheit meet. That's just not right. I say bring on global warming.

I bought one of those for hot air ballooning in the cold cold cold weather. Works great

Well thought I would report back, that my wife has seen defeat in trying to get me to sway her way

She has not done anything that it would seem spitefull against me, like color her hair, cut it or anything else so I believe the verbal war is over

Still totally as SBG as ever

Although I admire your taking a stand J_B, and I think that the SLY look suits you very well. I don't think that if I were in your shoes I would have continued down the SLY path, I think for the sake of a good and strong relationship I would have probably grown my hair back for my wife. After all we tell people who are thinking about taking the plunge and shave their head because (it's only hair) we can say the same thing about keeping what we have for that same reason (it's only hair). Because as we point out it's not our hair or the lack of that defines who we are.

I have to respectfully disagree with my Brother Tom. I believe that you have to be true to YOURSELF first in order to make everything else in your life better.
Happy husband = Happy wife and vice versa

My wife loves me clean shaven but hates it when I get stubble, however, my daughter wants me to grow it back and gives me a speach about how guy going bald would pay anything to get their hair back etc.
