Do i shave everyday or not?

I started shaving the bonce this week as many of you know.
I'm not going bald at all, but have selected to have the bald look and intend to keep it.
I shaved on Monday, Tuesday and Weds but today I have given it a miss.
I want to see what it is like after 2 days growth and if I can cope with it.
I have a lot of shadow on top due to my dark full head of hair and I really prefer the totally smooth look. At the moment after 24 hours my head feels like rough sandpaper!
I guess I can shave every day but don't want to get my skin irritated by over working it.
Any thoughts or advice?
I will let you know how I feel in the morning with 2 days growth.
Tomorrow will also be my first shave with my new HeadBlade!

Everyday shaving is a must! Unless you enjoy that "sandpaper" feel. Your skin should be fine but remember, you can always change up the routine a bit when / if needed. I think you'll really enjoy the headblade as long as you follow the advice you get on this forum. Also, if the blade that comes with it doesn't seem to work, give the other options a try. Personally I use the Sensor Excell on my HB. I've tried the HB Tripples several times and they just don't work for me. Good luck!

It's easier to do when it's part of your daily routine.
If you shave your face every day, just continue up on top - it really doesn't take that much more time. In fact, I wear a goatee and find it quicker to shave my head than in was to shave the beard around my mouth...fewer cuts too.

I have been shaving (almost) every day. Skipped one day last week, and might skip today, as a result of a bad shave. However, my headblade products come in today, so I might not be able to resist LOL.

You'll find your own routine through trial and error.
I may occasionally skip a day if I'm a little lazy but try not to (love it smooth & sly).

When I first started shaving I did every other day or so but have switched to every day and I love it. While I might skip an occasional day here and there, its every day for me from now on!

So far I've shaved every day.
I hate having my shirt stick to my velcro like head so it's going to become my routine.

Thanks for all the advice.
Looks like I'm going for the daily routine but might have the odd day off at the weekend.
Got my HB today, but not got the products to use with it :-)
Will have to try it with normal shaving foam.
I am expecting the HeadShed, etc next week.
Here is my 1 day shadow!

I would like to shave everyday but ity is just a little too harsh on my baby tender skin. So I shave as frequently as I want/need to but do take some days off. Some days I even shave twice.
But typically I shave 2 out of every 3 days, or 3 out of 4, and never more than 7 days in a row, this starts to get hard on my dome.

Well I tried the HB for the first time today.
It did a quick great job on the top and back, but still had to do a check over against the grain in a few directions to get me totally smooth. No nicks though. Just hope the rest of the HB products come next week. Hope the shave cream gives an even better result.

If you want the smooth feel shave your head every day or more, I shave daily when home and shave again before going out.
But every now and then i will leave it for 1-2 days to rest the skin Or if i have a cut that is taking time to heal.
I do mine daily in the shower most times

I shave every day, like others have said, while you're shavin the face, just lather up the noggin too. It'll soon become 'normal' and you'll do it without thinking

It's really a matter of personal choice. I usually shave every day, but every month or so I will let it grow to a low buzz for a few days to a week. It's good for the scalp, and when you do shave, it feels great, and super smooth.

Definitely daily. I usually give my head (and face) the day off on Saturday. I don't like the velcro/sandpaper feel plus like others say, its easier when you make it a daily routine.
