Do you guys know if the two are compatable? I know the vibro-thing won't work with the non-power handle, but do the blades lock on? I bought a FP, because I wanted to see what the hype was and I hated it. Sure I couldn't feel the blades on my face or scalp, but I couldn't feel it in my hand either. Like trying to drink through a straw after the dentist gives you Novocaine! Anyway, I'm trying to sell or trade the handle and blades that I bought (see Buy/Sell/Trade Forum

), but if that doesn't work could I use the Power blades with my non-power handle or vice versa?
I'm not certain if you can but I'm pretty sure they will work. But what do I know....I love the Fusion Power and there is no novocaine involved!! :-)
I'll try it when I get home. I'm at work right now and thought I'd get a quick answer from you guys.
@Gary, you want to trade for some blades?
hey johnny: i've also tried the fusion power & didn't like it. the manual gets me the smoooothest. however, both blades R the same. the R both compatible. the only difference is the color. the manual blades R blue & the power blades R orange.
WARHAWK
Thanks guys. Okay, that settles that then. I'll just use one as a travel blade (I keep my travel kit packed so I don't have to mess with it when I want to go). And the other as the home blade. Although, if someone who likes the power wants it and has a standard Fusion, I'll trade, even swap.
I love my Fusion, but Power Fusion has a defect, the damn motor on power dies. So ultimately I went w/ the non-power, and if truth be known, I can't honestly say that there's any difference. Closeness is, for this guy at least , best assured by not shaving for the first hour out of bed. But I love my Fusion, I've tried HB--not close too much hassle in handling. [No offense to my brothers who use and swear by it--and I live and die by Headslick although I'm finding it harder and harder to buy it and I don't like buying that stuff on line.] I believe firmly in the rule of KISS, and Fusion is w/in the rule.
