Hey Guys I recently stopped using the handle on My Mach 3 and the shave has been way better no nics or nothing just the smoothest head ever. So I'm thinking bout using the head blade but not sure if i should (worried bout control issues with the head blade.)
So can anyone tell me how the head blade feels on the old noggin before I go get one?

So you just hold the blade in your fingers???

I am using the Headblade Sport for 2 months and find it easy to control.
I started with the triple blades and it took me about 2 - 3 weeks to get used to it.
Recently I changed to the double blades, I think they give a closer shave, but the danger of cutting yourself is a little bit higher (it happened to me ...)
But I cannot compare it to a standard razor because I never used one of these, for face shaving I have always been using an electric razor.

I really like using the headblade. The key to is keeping the back pad or wheels on the head at all times, and no pressure on the front of the blade. When you first start using it there will be a learning curve to it (some cuts might happen) but after you get the hang of it.. its a great razor to have. There are lots of different blades the most comfortable ones I have used are the gillette sensor excel cartridges, but can also get a great shave from the gillette atra blades.

I use both the headblade and a Fusion. I really love the headblade for the control factor. But like everyone says...keep the pressure OFF the blade. The trick is not to rush the shave, and rinse after every stroke, so you have a clean blade each time. I highly recommend Headslick, to compliment the razor as it gives a nice smooth shave, and doesn't clog up. For added results, I use some Aveeno Positively Smooth shave gel, and do a second pass with a fusion.

Another thing I need to add is to shave in the shower it really helps to soften the hair and the skin to make the shave better.

I've had good luck with the headblade sport. It's really easy to use, doesn't take much time to learn how to use it.

I use the HeadBlade Sport and find no problems with the shave. As stated there is a slight learning curve to the HeadBlade but it is well worth it. I tried several other razors - Mach3, Mach3 Disposables, Schick Quatro, Schick Extreme 3, Gillette Fusion and found the HeadBlade to be my choice. I use the triple blades from HeadBlade and find that they give me a great shave combined with HeadSlick followed by HeadLube. I love the HeadBlade product line and would build a shrine to Todd Greene if I could.

hi all,
I tried the headblade a few times and really didn't like the feel. I tried a couple different blades. Just wasn't for me.
I love my fusion though.

Gillette Fusion Power: IMHO there is nothing that comes close! I tried the HB for over a month but I found that it never really got as close as I could with my Fusion. To each his own, but I'm sticking with my Gillette!!
