is there any drawback to doing laser?
« on: June 25, 2010, 09:56:17 PM »
hey guys... so i have been considering going laser, and was curious if you guys had any thoughts on it.  The cost isn't an issue, as i have an opportunity to have it done for relatively little.

i know the permanent aspect of it is something to consider... but i can't see myself abandoning the look.

I say, once you're comfortable with the look, if you've got the desire, money, time, willingness to put up with the process....then go for it!  O0
I'm sure you've read through the other threads on laser removal and what guys have dealt with. 8)
Besides, you're young enough not to have any grey hairs to trip you up, like us old-timers that waited too long (present company excluded- thank you!).  :/O

Hey Cincy, I just completed my fourth laser treatment.  So far, I haven't had any problems.  Granted I have quite a bit of gray hair that the laser will not remove.  I am BBC with terrible hair.  I have found that I can shave the noggin in about half the time.  Also, the growth time for the gray ones is about half of what it was.  I only have to shave every other day now.  My shadow is virtually gone now.  Would I do it again?  You bet!! Just wish I had discovered the sly life years ago.  I say, It is worth it.

Hey Cincy, sorry I didn't get right back to answer your question, but as Papa Don mentioned, the laser has trouble with grey hair; I guess it has something to do with lack of color ???... I don't know, it just does.  I'm glad to hear that it even has some affect.  O0
