pimples and itchy forehead anyone?
« on: November 20, 2008, 06:12:08 PM »
I have my university exams coming in 2 weeks, and next week I have 4
assignments to finish.  This could not have come at a worse time.

This is the 2nd time this happens to me.  I am at home doing work or changing clothes
and out of nowhere my forehead starts burning for a few minutes.  Then
I go check in the mirror and there is pimples all over my forehead.  It takes 3 hours
for the pimples to go away.
I cannot go to a doctor for now.  Man, I'm so busy but this is a big blow.   My health
problems are only increasing.  But I guess I am still curious if anyone here has had
a similar reaction in the past and what your doctors told you.
(note I do not get red eyes,  I just get a very itchy and burning forehead and maybe
neck, and the pimples appear on the forehead and a few on my scalp for a few hours)

Thanks for any input.

Buy yourself a good astringent, or I really REALLY reccomend Oxy pads, its just astringent on a circular pad but they work, and fast.

It's most likely hives since it goes away in a few minutes.

I wouldn't let it go. I would tell your doctor about it. You don't want to have to deal with shingles.

Hey guys, thanks for your thoughts.

I went to see the doctor on campus in the morning.  But first, it was weird.  I looked in the
mirror today and the pimples were still there!!  I thought they were gone last night but was wrong.

Anyway, she said I have "skin rash" and that it probably came from wearing my baseball hat.
You see when I go outside in the sun I wear my baseball hat and I since I don't have any hair
to protect my forehead anymore (all shaved :)) then the hat really overheats the skin and hence
the rash/pimples/whatever.   But I'm glad, she said it's not an allergic reaction.  Sigh of relief.
