Manual clippers
« on: July 08, 2012, 05:19:15 AM »
Hello,

I'm starting with a friend for a couple of weeks.
They have this pair of manual hair clippers in the bathroom and
I'm so tempted to use them!! (I've used them to trim my sideburns)
But that is as far as it goes.

Have any of you ever used manual hair clippers? They are rather cool.

I've never shaved my head bald before but have had a short buzz cut before, hoping to go
Bald at some point this year, once my work commitments have finished maybe. If I shave I will be bald by choice, my hair at the moment is a bit long maybe an inch in top? Thinking of getting a buzz cut to help me gradually work towards bald, might plan a holiday away and shave it then?

I've no experience with manual clippers, but I can say this because I'm BBC, too.  Now's a good time to clipper your hair down. Go shorter and shorter.  Each step you'll like it better. One of these days you'll break out the razor and take it bald and you'll wonder why you waited so long.  If you want to give bald a try, it's going to happen some day.  Let us know how it goes.

buzzing down to a #1 or no guard is very refreshing if you are not able (because of work) to go completely sly at this time.

Hi jeff. back in highschool, I had the unfortunate experience of having my haircut done using manual clippers. It was painful, like my scalp was almost ripped. Never used it again.

Manual Clippers are so bad that there are no words to describe them.

I would rather shave my head with a rusty jam tin lid than use a pair of manual clippers.
