Favorite Roadtrip Track?
« on: October 09, 2012, 08:34:25 AM »
When taking long roadtrips, I like to listen to CD's while driving, especially once I am outside my local radio stations' reception area...Unlike local trips where I just pick the tracks I like to listen to randomly, on long roadtrips I just let the CD play through even through the tracks I don't like...For some reason, my favorite roadtrip track is "Take It Easy" by the Eagles (a bit biased since it was released in my birth year) A close second would have to be the Doobie Brothers' "Listen to the Music"....When you guys are taking long roadtrips, what song(s) are your favorites during such trips? Thanks for sharing!

"L.A. Woman" by The Doors is a big favorite to drive to. So is "Livin' Thing" by ELO
Bald since 2005, showing it off since 2011.

I love listening to Kid Rock when cruising on the HD. Love these three (and many more):

Nice choice....though for me that would fall into the serendipity category.....Another song that I like that might qualify as serendipity is Lobo's "Me and You and a Dog Named Boo".....I like to listen to it on the road at night for some reason.

Love that old song! I also like "Chevy Van" by Sammmy Johns. Check it out:
