Just checking in. LOL Havent been around much the last few days. Memorial Day weekend kept us all busy and work the last two days have been so so.
So Did everyone have a good Memorial Day weekend? I guess that will be geared toward anyone who lives in the US. IF you do not live in the US, what did you do over the weekend?
We spent Saturday and Sunday at the boat club. Had a great time. Well I did at least, the wife wasnt too happy about it. ITs a long story and wouldnt really want to get into it in here. Lets just say that she was ready to go home.
Memorial Day we spent around the house here. We did some dodge cook out. Dodge meaning..we dodged rain showers. We ended up having some nice bbq chicken on the grill. THe BBQ that I make is what I am going to be making down in Florida for a few of the SBG's that live in the area and I am also planning on cooking some up down at Paulies.
Hope everyone is having a good week and looking forward to another great weekend!

My memorial day weekend was awesome, albeit nothing was planned. Friday night Mrs. Mvmnt tells me "were waking up at 7 am tomorrow to go walk around DC with Lorena (a friend of hers from brazil)". so saturday i walked around our nations capitol with 3 brazilian girls and a german girl (yes, the head did come up in discussion O0 haha) then we drive home to Richmond, Va. Then sunday (on a whim) drove back to DC to go buy furniture and drove back to RVA. then monday we rearranged the living room and went to a cookout with my parents.
God I love not planning anything. :@`
Heres to another awesome weekend!

Feel your pain PBurke! Was on call 24 hours on Memorial Day, 7am Monday to 7am Tuesday. My phone rang at 7:30 am Monday and I was at the hospital until 6:45 am Tuesday. Sick people don't take holidays you know.

Mine was very busy - getting ready for tomorrow's party! P@^
I just took off my uniform for the last time (unless I'm in a parade; which isn't very likely). ??? So it's time to celebrate! O0
Between "Spring" cleaning and just keeping up with the usual things, there is just too much to do. Maybe it's time to sell the house and get a condo. 8)

Great Mday. Five households of neighbors got together for a pot luck BBQ. Good neighbor Don (there are 3 of us in a row--Dons that is) does the best baby back ribs and chicken. Each household brought a dish. Baked beans, potatoe salad, melons, drinks etc.
We all visited and made plans to help one another this summer with projects around our houses. The friendship lasted up until late. What a wonderful life!

Well, I've been MIA as well cause I was sick as hell and pretty much stuck in bed for a week then it was back to work...
On OUR long weekend, which was the week before yours, I spent it up at a friends in the country building a deck then out to Grand Bend to the bars. Your long weekend I was working!
