Hi guys,

I just went bald by choice from a grown-out buzz yesterday, partly for staying cooler in the summer. (Did the same thing 2 years ago, and regrew my hair mostly out of laziness: I found the look deceptively hard to maintain.)

The other reason is that I want to run an experiment to see how the style will affect my socializing with the single women in my area. I realize that a shaved head is a polarizing style to the ladies: many of them love it and just as many seem to hate it. Naturally, I'm hoping to make some better connections with those in the first group.  :@`

Regardless, it's nice to be here - almost as nice as rubbing my smooth scalp!

Welcome to the group Dave. The look is great for you. I hear you about the maintaining thing. It is work to keep the look but it is also very satisfying when you do. Hope you can find a good balance that works for you.

Quite a few of my guy friends said the style suited me the last time I shaved, too. This go-round, the real test is going to be what the ladies think...
