i shave every other day, but i want to shave every day if possible, still trying to find the perfect shave for me.

right now its in the shower with mach3 turbo, headshed, headslick...followed up with which hazel and bump stopper.

just bought a schick quattro midnight, going to test it out tomorrow morning.

I shave everyday and exfoliate Monday Wednesday and Friday. Those are the days I get my best shave.

I use the headshed every other day, along with headwash when in the shower.  It's a nice preshave combo.  I tend to shave the dome every other day or so, but sometimes I switch it up, a go every day.  Have you tried the headblade sport yet?

what exactly does headwash do that headshed doesnt?

i have a headblade sport...i tried it once...and it seemed impossible to push the blade without pressure...i gave up.

Headwash cleans all the dirt and oil build up, aside form that, not sure if there is a major difference.  As far as I know the headshed is just an exfoliate to soften the hairs, and scalp.  Iuse em both when in the shower. You might want to give the sport a 2nd shot.  The trick is to keep the pressure in the back,  When you are shaving, it should be your ring finger that holds the pressure down.

I gotta be honest, I don't see what any specialty product can do that a good soap and scrubber (like a shower sponge) won't take care of.
Maybe I'm missing out on something....I just don't get it.

Me neither. I use a loofa sponge and that thing feels like sandpaper, I've tried things like St. Ives I don't find it nearly as effective at removing oil and dead cells.
