Saw another thread and there a discussion started about BBC being better than MPB and people questioning the defenition. Hope this poll ends that discussion, just either or.....

I agree. its all been done before, and usually ends up with arguments. What's one man's idea of MPB is someone else's idea of BBC.
Some guys on here go on about being cursed with MPB and when i see their hairline I think, 'WOW! That's just like my hairline, but I only consider myself BBC!' It's all a matter of opinion. I CAN grow a full head of hair (it's just receding at the temples, so therefore I'm BBC! 8)

This topic has been brought up more than once. If someone is still interested I say use the search box on this site and type in MPB or BBC and all the discussions will come up (after all that's what a search box is designed for). Cheers.

Just answer the question! Think i made it very clear. No discussion about it! The only way out is: "i ave no clue", but than u should visit another forum.

Nope don't want any discussion, just want an answer? The fact that guys in here think this Q is such an issue, i cannot comprehend.

But the answers are found in the discussions. So the guys don't feel like repeating themselves over and over and over and over. You get what I mean?

Plain and simple: it comes across as an attempt to identify who's "more sly" than others. Divisive and not in the spirit of this site.
Anyone who shaves their head is bald by choice. Anyone. Just because someone is MPB doesn't mean that a razor accidentally fell on their head and removed all their hair.
Now if you wanted to start a poll asking whether guys have a full head of hair or not, that'd be fine. But characterizing anyone who head shaves as not BBC is going to raise rankles.

Dave is new I am more than happy to let him know as well any1 else who asks that I do not have a full head of hair.
so I voted MPB.

Back when I used to hang out on travel forums, there would be endless discussions of "tourists vs. travelers."
On my skiing and snowboarding forums they debate "are you a 'skier' or just a 'person who skis?'" On one of the sites a poster once assembled links to a whole bunch of other forums in which there was the same kind of debate going on: are you a surfer or a just a person who surfs? are you a kayaker or just a person who kayaks? are you a golfer or just a person who golfs? Etc.
I've always puzzled over this seeming need to create artificial ranks and divisions of supposed authenticity among people who share a common interest.

besides the receding hairline does thinning hair count as MPB or BBC? the top of my heads thinning but i still have a shadow. its just lighter than the rest of my head.

I second Rob on this. Bear has it right; we're all bald, by choice!

blah blah blah.....over and over and over and over again....sheesh! This will never die :Xo! Who gives a rats ass why we shave our heads. I do it because I like it....same reason I had buzzed hair for almost 10 years and a mullet in high school.

Agreed. I do it because I like it, plain and simple. If I liked long hair I'd have it long, if I was MPB and just wanted the horseshoe I'd do that. I shave because I love it, but it seems a few have a problem with that?? :/O

Think this poll is getting a bit too controversial. Was merely trying to quantify an other thread. U guys sure come with a manual.
For the record: i chose to put the raisor to my head yesterday, but i'm definately a MPB guy!

Hmmm, this one always does cause a stink...wonder why...
When I'm 100% slick bald...it's by my choice...
so BBC here...
that is when I'm skinned! ;)
