Title: Number of shaves per blade

Hi guys

I am wondering how many shaves you get from your blades before it leads to nicks/cuts. I currently use a Mach 3 blade every 3 days on my head. I have also used the Sensor Excel and Fusion blades.

I change the blade every 2 weeks on my Fusion. I just dry it off after every use and spray it with a little rubbing alcohol and I am good to go.

7 days with the Fusion, Saturday is new blade day at my house.

I use sensor twos, I get about 9 days

Do you get more shaves depending on which shave gel/cream/lotion/foam you use?

When I used the fusion I am pushing the seventh shave, it doesnt give nicks it justs drags pretty good.. With the mach 3 I change it after seven but I could go longer.

About two weeks for the Fusion, but I know by about the eleventh day that I'm pushing it as it starts to drag.  I can just about get away with it for 14 days, but ideally I'd change it every week, if they werent so expensive! >:(

Yes, Head Bald Guy.... I definitely notice that Bald Guyz Shave Gel increases the life of my blades... But no fair... I think you knew the answer to that question...lol   ;)

I am really curious, do you see any differences with all of the products you use to shave? It's important to know for product development and formulation so that we can provide the greatest # shaves per blade.
