Title: Has this happened to anyone?
Post by: Kratos on March 29, 2009, 10:48:41 PM
A couple of months ago as I was shaving I nicked the top of my head. There was a fair amount of blood and I have no idea how it happened, must have slipped or something. Ever since then the skin on the same spot where I cut myself has become inflamed and formed a fleshy bump that has never gone away. Whenever I look at that stupid bump I get frustrated. Anybody have ideas on what this could be?

Pretty sure that's called a scar. I have a couple on the right side of my head right were a bumpy piece of my skull is. It took almost 4 months for the first one to fade to almost not noticeable. Hopefully yours will go away, it just takes time. But be cautious around that same area.

Could it be a keloid scar?

That's interesting, a keloid scar you say. I'll check into that, as of now looks like I'll have to wait it out and take it easy around that area. Thanks for the help guys  O0
