Is freakin' shoveling SNOW!! Been snowing for 3 days straight now with more on the way...
You know, a couple of weeks ago, that stupid little rodent, Puxatawney Phil came out of his little hole, didn't see his shadow, and proclaimed that Spring was just around the corner!
I think I'm heading to Pennsylvania and run that overweight little rat over a few times! :x!
-
I hear ya brother; Our overgrown rat predicted the same freakin thing, and we too have the snow. We are supposed to get 40- 60 cm (13- 20inches) overnight tonight into tomorrow morning. I say down with the Rats!! :x! b0x3r kn*% ^)$$
-
i think it got to about 70 here today. ha ha sorry guys, had to tell ya that.

Light snow here in Denver...getting down to 3* tonight (that's three degrees farenheit).
-
It was a beautiful day here in the SF Bay Area.
-
It was in the low-mid 50's in Austin/San Antonio today where I was. It will drop to mid 40's wednesday.
Just got back tuesday night from a trip to Austin(I saw both men's basketball games this weekend).
I can't stand cold weather so it's a good thing I live in texas.

I heard THAT! Nuthin' like a good Chicago blizzard to tax your sacroiliac. Lift with your legs, Rob...lift with your legs....lol 8)
-
A hobby is suppose to be something you enjoy. This freaking snow is just getting old. We got a double dose of it in Chicago's north and northwest burbs because that furry little rodent Woodstock Willy saw it too. Got to see that town dudes, they actually party there on Feb 2. Was used as site for Bill Murray's Groundhog day, so people are doing the party bit before sunrise. Maybe go next year and off the little bugger if this winter weather does stop.
-
It's been snowing since last night and they say it won't quit until 6 tonight.

I think I heard on the Fox32 news last night that this has been our snowiest winter in 7 or 8 years...

GLOBAL WARMING !!! GLOBAL WARMING!!!
CAPITALISM & INDUSTRY IS KILLING THE EARTH.
Friggin' tree hugging idiots.
I got your global warming, right here. @c3
-
Nuthin' like a good Chicago blizzard to tax your sacroiliac.
Holy crap...last time I taxed my sac, the doctor had me turnin' my head and coughing.
-
This is the most snow Albuquerque has seen in many many years.
-
Woke up and it was around 50 (at 5 AM). That was the high. It's down to 32 right now and still dropping.
-
Right now it's 9 without that damn wind chill, earlier today it was 2, and we ended up getting 23 inches of snow, with more to come.
-
This morning in Grande Prairie, Alberta it was -25 Celsius and snowing when I went to work and by the time I was done at 5:00 it was +2 and sunny.
Doesn't the groundhog say if he doesn't see his shadow, there's only 6 weeks left of winter and if he does see it, winter will end in 6 more weeks? :*)) :-\
Global warming won't kill the earth. Mother earth will survive all but I pity the parasite on her back when she gives that big shake to rid herself of it. ;)
-
I'll give you extra gas money to run that little runt over! We just had I-80 closed through the area yesterday because of snow and 70 MPH winds.

I'm yer neighbor to the SE in Denver. Not as bad down here this time. A little blustery yesterday and a slight dusting....that's about it.
-
Cold as all get-out here today. 7:30 PM and it is down to 36 - and windy. Have been sleeping with a heating pad at my feet to keep them warm. Thank God for thermals.

I still follow the weather updates on my home page from when I lived over there and saw you've been in some cold temps and sever weather alerts. :o need some > @nn!3
-
I just got back from a trip down to the the southern interior of BC and boy was it nice down there. 8* Celsius and the sun shining. I was sitting on my truck waiting for the tire guy to fix 2 tires and was telling him to take his time 'cuz I get paid by the hour and I'm getting some sun on my noggin'! 8)
-
Temp has been rising here all day/evening... it's 40F outside right now! O0
-
Suppose to be in the high 60's by the end of the week, with the possibility of another cold front around the first of March
-
It was rough this weekend...around 75 F here. O:O

Didn't get a sunburn did ya? Saturday and Sunday were both OK around here, Sunday it was nice enough to go ballooning. Good and cold, the balloon was up for about an hour total, and I flew for about 30 minutes. Which included my first "impromptu" lesson. I logged my first lesson Sunday....woohoo!!! It may take years and years, but I may eventually become a pilot when I grow up!

Not so much... :P
That's one of the reasons I like living in the MidWest... the change of seasons in dramatic, so you appreciate the other seasons more!

Same here, I used to live in Phoenix (and yes it does get cold) but we never really had the seasons. I like being at the end of winter just so ready for summer and likewise in the summer waiting for winter.
-
Phoenix is an extreme going the other way. I like the heat, but there's no f'in way I'd live in Phoenix @nn!3.
-
In some ways it is really not that bad. The beauties of AC and waking up early or doing everything in the evening or night. I'm not a morning person at all (not even the army changed me on that one) and I found myself waking up early many Phoenix summer to avoid the heat.

Its a regular heat wave here, high temps in the 50's. Bout time after a month or so of highs only in the teens. After that, going out with just a sweatshirt is nice. Even took off my longhandles. They really needed washed 8).
-
This was the first morning above freezing since January, got my first morning run in weeks. Two more days of above freezing here and we'll call it spring.

Here in Seattle, It snowed a few inches back in January and people thought the end was near.
-
I must say its rather nice here in central Alabama. There's a little chill in the air that make for good sleeping weather but (and most importantly) it doesn't snow here but once every 20 years or so!! I am soooo loving that.
-
The final bits of snow are finally starting to melt in Jersey.
Last Monday it was 19 degrees. Today its 50. No wonder everyone I know has a cold.
-
already near 70 out here...forecasted high of 81.
Sorry about that.
Sometimes it pays to be an Ordinary American.

Two days ago it was 75 degrees here in beautiful north Missouri. Today, there is an inch of snow on the ground. :'(
-
It's definitely spring time in Alberta! The other day I was out in the bush picking up a Delimber and within the space of one hour, it snowed 6 inches, rained, hailed and was sunny. Gotta love spring time :@`
-
dang shiny! i'd hate to see winter there lol

Yep, there's another system coming into Colorado....supposed to get significant SNOW over the next two days. :D

-
Yea, spring is here in So. Cal...there are a FEW dark clouds in the sky....weather is a relative thing out here......
sometimes makes me wonder how i'll do on our eventual move to the rainy northwest...
I WILL keep all posted on the sucess on THAT move...when it happens...
Oh and definatley more "sly" in So. Cal vs. Vancouver, Wa...not sure if i like being a little "sly" in a big pond or a big "sly" in a little pond...

Man I don't know but my normal hour drive to work took two yesterday and then I had to shovel a driveway full of concrete. Live 3 miles from the Wis border and we got 8 inches of the white stuff. Definitely ready for spring.
-
Has anyone looked at the forecast in California? @n(
-
Outside of Saturday's rainy forecast (when I'm golfing), it looks pretty damn good. Hey, thanks for asking Tyler. I'm sure our fellow SBG's from back east sure do appreciate it.

Yeah... if I would have bought on in '88 - '89 when I lived there...
-
mornings are in the 50's with a warm up to the lower 80's. sunshine is plentiful. maybe the swamp ain't so bad.
-
I think the trick is to go out and buy a nice big snowblower, like I did. :/O Then it won't snow for beans. I actually had to try it out and ended up putting it into one of the higher gears so I could pick up enough snow to blow, and the scraper got caught on one of those expansion cracks in the sidewalk and I thought I was going over the top of that thing! :D
