Hello everyone. A few of you have already met me and welcomed me but I thought I should post a proper intro here.
I am already sly and have been so for about and a month and a half now, very glad I shaved it all off. I only wish I had done it sooner. I clipped my hair progressively shorter to try and allow my parents to get used to the look. My mum hates it but hasn't commented to me, she just comments to others when I am not around :x! My dad is quite bald and has the usual horseshoe with just a bit of hair on top. He always tells me that there is no need to shave it and that I won't be bald I will still have hair like him. I guess he never got out of the denial stage :/O I guess he doesn't let it get to him though so that is fair enough, for me on the other hand I would much rather have no hair. My younger bro will probably be in a situation similar to me and he said if he gets to a similar stage he will shave it all off O0
I started to notice my hair line receding when I was very young, probably about 15. I doubt it was obvious to anyone else until I was 17 or 18 but it was quite a downer knowing my fate was to have no hair and finding out at 15. I did hope for a while it would stop but it become obvious quite quickly that I wouldn't be so lucky. So now at 20 I shave it all off, I always hated my hair (long before I realised I was going bald) so I guess it is quite ironic that now I have none.
I am also an Aussie, any other Aussies here? I will attach a photo so you can tell me what you think, and if you have any questions feel free to ask. Hopefully I can give back a bit to the community as before I signed up you were all quite helpful in convincing me to shave it off O:O

Welcome L2L! You and I are in a pretty similar situation, although I was a little older. I was worried about what people would say and the guys here convinced me to go for it (not so much directly, but through their posts to others.) I am so glad that I did. My family loves it and the ladies seem to like it too (my wife's not too thrilled with that part.)
Anyways, enjoy it. I have learned to accept being bald and it made me feel much better about myself. You look great bald and I am sure that it makes you feel better too.
