Title: thinking of doin what baldandre did.
Post by: Ghost1988 on March 05, 2009, 11:14:15 PM: but instead of a flattop (which i cant grow) ive always wanted to try to grow a mohawk. not one of those big spikey ones but a small one. i figured ide try it now while A). im still young and B). i still have enough hair to do it. my hairlines the perfect width for it haha.

i dunno. its a thought. im still going to shave the sides as usual. and im not gonna keep the look i just want to try it once before i lose my hair.

It's okay to try different things and change up your look. I do it every so often myself when I allow it to grow out and then keep it buzzed. I'm just starting one now.

Don't worry what anyone says or thinks. I know it's tougher for a lot of the younger guys, but you gotta do what's right for you. Stay proud and confident.
You know that the shaved noggin is always there for you to go back to whenever you choose. O0

I agree. I've done a mohawk (short version) every once in a while, just to try it, because my receding hairline is just perfect for one! It's good to have a change: but I always go back to sly after a week or so! 8)

xnew: why not post a pic sometime of how you look when you grow it out a little? Be interested to see O0

You can do a hawk...period and it will look and be a hawk!

Post by: Ghost1988 on March 06, 2009, 03:35:57 PM: ok so i just tried the mohawk thing and it doesnt really look right because im starting to thin on my crown so the strips really thin in that area so when you look at it from the side that areas like transparent lol. i only have 3 days of growth though so it wasnt much of a mohawk anyways. i might give it like a weeks growth and try it again except im guessing it would look worse with the thinning and all. whatever the case im going to take a pic and post it once i give it another go around.
