Title: Is there a difference between hard and soft water shaves???

Just transitioned into the realm of the concrete water and am curious if there are better techniques to be had...

Hard water has high mineral content.   Soft water contain few or no calcium or magnesium particles.

OK, so I was really tired when I first asked my question (yikes).  To clarify, I have been fortunate to have "soft water" for the past few years and my shaves were always good.  Ive recently moved to a "hard water" system and my shaves dont seem to be as good.

Does anyone, in the same scenario, use certain products to aid in the shaving process?

If you are not shaving in soft water then your shave becomes harder ;)  (sorry, couldn't resist)
