Ah the dreaded Velcro effect!!! Seriously I have to shave everyday or everything from hoodies to blankets get stuck to me! Great list.

When I first shaved with no guard with the clippers I liked it and thought I would stay with that. But then I took the razor to my scalp and now I am loving that much more. I look forward to a fresh shave each morning. I actually don't like my 5 oclock shadow and wish I could shave my head twice a day but that is probably going overboard lol.

Hey wait a minute, I kinda like that reputation. Nobody messes with me. :x!
;D

ive gotten that.

Yeah me too. People have actually mistaken me for a specific cop in town. I have yet to see this doppelganger.
-
When I first moved to my area and was establishing myself in the local watering hole, everyone thought I was a cop... people would give me worrisome stares, like "WTF is this cop doing in here?"

I have a shirt that says CIA on it. If I wear that shirt I'm sure to get about 3 people asking me if I really work for the CIA. My answer is always, "if I was, do you think I'd be wearing this shirt?"

How many here(who are NOT military or law enforcement) have been mistaken for off-duty policemen or military? Even though Im both, I always thought it was interesting.
It only happened to me once, about two years ago. I was out drinking with a buddy who used to be in the Naval Reserves. We ran into a guy in the Army who was just back from Iraq. They got to talking and after a while the guy turned to me and asked what branch of the armed services I was in. When I said none, he said I just had "the look".
-
Well, if you had the face hair at the time, he should have thought a bit harder. :/O I'm not sure if the Navy still allows beards, but the other services don't. The only other possibility would be if you were a Reservist and grew it in between your drilling times. ;)
