No supplements here. I'm not interested in bulking up
I take a multi-vitamin everyday, but still try and eat a balanced diet (well, moreso now than I have in year's past).

Just bought Leukic, Gakic and Creakic.  Its Muscletech brand.  Im going to be playing football next year so when baseball season is over I'll be them.  Used Creakic before and its quite good and really does the job.  I only go through the one bottle to get up to 185 from 175 then and just maintain from there to keep my speed up.

Fish Oil, glucosamine and chondroitin (which has virtually eliminated pain in my hands), B12 (in the AM), ZMA (GNC brand. Tastes freakin terrible), Ginkgo biloba (which I keep forgetting to take) and I do an Amino Acid protein shake with 2% milk in the morning because I hate eating breakfast and it keeps me around the 180lb mark.

2000mg Vit C, B150 B Vit, 1000units D-Alpha Vit E(Natural),  Fish Oil, Vit D/ calcium and Milk thistle, every morning, Saigon cinnamon on natural oatmeal as part of my cholesterol and blood sugar control.  In past I've taken food supplements but over time didn't find any value over high quality protein and complex carbs.  I also maintain a low glycemic index diet but high protein.  No food or drink containing high fructose corn syrup--but other than that I eat everything including red meat.  I've done this for about 20 years.  I do fall off occasionally, and I like good single malt whiskey, and gin martinis-dry, stirred w/ a twist no olive, and red wine--mostly weekends and Abita Beer during Carnival Season when Popeye's Fried Chicken is my favorite snack--because life has got to be fun as well as long. >:D >:D >:D >:D >:D >:D >:D >:D >:D >:D

I take a multivitamin, glucosamine and chondroitin, creatine, and supplement my diet with whey protein.  I have been into weight training for 20 years and I will finally be competing in bodybuilding shows this year.

Greens/superfood blend, Vitamin D,Fish oils, Creatine, some sort of pre-wo stim or a sugar free red bull or a spike. I'm a firm advocate on a good intake of fish oil, more so than protein due to the anti-inflamatory effects, lubrication of joints, healthy heart & cardio effects and as well as brain/cognitive function. Vitamin D is also very under estimitated, especially it's ability to fight off cancer. Tank, do you compete?

glucosamine and condroiton? does that work? what about the fish oil? i've taken both of these supplements, but after 2-3 weeks i stopped because i didn't really feel different.

also, i take mega-men sport by GNC. i've been taking it for a while but i'm not sure i like it cuz it kind of makes me feel dehydrated and groggy about 3 hours after taking it.

Besides the usual pills; I take a multi, niacin 250, fish oil, lecithin and multi-oils from GNC. When I gave up hair, I wound up buliking up and gaining weight. Dont ask. LOL

Every SBG should be taking Astaxanthin, its a carentenoid ( Vit A ) and it helps fight free radicals and helps with inflamation/skin protection. It does wonders for me, especially when Im outside in the sun.

what does B-6 do?
Title: Re: SUPPLEMENTS
Post by: RyanJP on July 02, 2009, 03:18:36 PM
B-6 is good for anxiety and it's a good sleep aid. A good combo for stressed out individuals is B-6, Magnesium and zinc. I would follow rwards protocol two doses, one in the morning and then before bed.

you're all too young to have anxiety attacks.  LOL

Not a whole lot different then most of the other posts.

Daily:

Whey protein
Orange Triad (multi vitamin, joint support and digestive aid all in one)
Fish oil (Animal Omega)
BCAA

Weight lifting days:

Everything above plus the non-caffeinated version of Ragnarok - happy as heck with the stuff.

Just got in a bottle of Uni-liver (which is desiccated beef liver) and will be adding that to my dailies.
