Greetings SBG and thank you for such an outstanding site. I've been a lurker on SBG for quite some time. I'd say i'm on the site on average of about once a day. With all do respect I'm not much into forums but I'm impressed with SBG and how everyone conducts themselves. That is what made me join. I've been sly for 2 years. I got tired of spending money on trips to the barber so one day I ran the clippers threw and used my mach3 on the dome. Be advised that a pic will be up soon, I'm utilizing my iPhone right now (computer is down) - Ryan out

Ryan,
As a fellow newbie, welcome. I look forward to seeing your picture.
I have given myself a March cutoff date to make a shift, as that is my birthday timeline.
Question for those who use the shaver against the head, as a step preceding entering full sly-hood:
How often can you use the shaver? Does it create nicks or cuts if used too often?

Ryan, welcome to SBG's. This is a great forum with plenty of info and good times.
Check out the headshaving and products sections for any help you may need.
Post up with a pic so we can see the newly shaved dome.

O0 Welcome. You've joined the best site for SBG. As to your question, once you get the "feel" of shaving, there shouldn't be ANY knicks or cuts. And you can shave more than once a day, but that depends on your individual rate of hair/velcro regrowth. Once every 24 hours is usually right for me, but there are occasions when I want the ultimate slick look and feel and , therefore, choose to shave again late in the day or in the early evening.
