I just picked up a fusion 4 razor refill. On the package it says that it should last 4 months. LOL,give me a break. Even if I was just shaving my face. There is no way in hell I would get a month out of one razor.I guess they mean if you shave once a week ;D

That is definitely a crock. I can get 2 weeks out of my fusion blades when I use the Bald Guys shave gel, and I feel very lucky to be getting that.

1 - 2 weeks. I can get longer with very hot water. Seems to make the blades better

yeah: about two weeks with fusion blades. I read on the packet it said 4 months, but that's just a load of BO**!$$£!! ;D

I've noticed some advertising by my "friends" at Fusion about the life, i.e. cost, of their blades. Maybe they've sensed that they have hit an upper limit of cost that the general public will accept. I buy an 8 pack at a local discount pharmacy for somewhat over US$23, or say $3 w/ tax for each blade. I get one week, or 7 days out of a blade for face and scalp. I used to get approximately 15 days for each blade before I got smart and smooth. The life of the blade in my opinion probably differs for each guy depending on whether his beard in coarse, dense, and whether he is profoundly bald, leaving only the sides and neck to clean up, or balding and the coarse and dense character of what's left. For me, beard is medium and relatively dense, hair is and has been fine, but densely spaced on the back and sides with much thinning and "bad grass" areas. That gives me one week of comfortable shaves. I can't get any more out of them, alcohol, etc. notwithstanding.
The economy is hitting everyone. Just had a brain f_rt--are the blades made in the USA or is manufacture off shore? I'll have to check the pack. Even citizens of the Far East are getting more for their labor so I guess we'll just have to suck it up.
In the final analysis, my barber was charging $30 a pop nearly two years ago, and I needed to have him cut and style the remaining hair at least every five weeks, so $300 for him and approx. $78 for blades before sly, now approximately $156 a year total. I'm still far ahead of the game--

Big time crock o' sh**. I couldn't imagine getting a month of shaves from one blade cartridge, especially on the face.
The people who tested them must have had some baby fine hair. :D

LOL, you are so right. My face would be full of razor bumps if I use the same blade cartridge for a full month.

I can get about 1 month out of fusions on the face... maybe because I only do half of it... Headblades... about 2 weeks.
-
I buy fusion or fusion power blades, usually 8-12 a month.... they are good( i think)... but alittle inconsistent.
-
I only get about a week out of a blade >:(
-
I get around 10 shaves from a blade.

I use Sensor Excels on my Headblade and I change them every two weeks. I've noticed that using shaving oils, like Shave Secret, REALLY kill my blade life. I only had about a week per blade when I used that stuff. Needless to say, I don't use it anymore.
As far as my face is concerned, I guess it really depends. I change my facial hair all the time, so sometimes I shave more than others. Like right now, I have a beard (no mustache) so a blade last a lot longer. I've also been trying different razors lately, just to see if there's anything better than the Fusion. I got a Quattro Titanium two nights ago and I LOVE it. We'll see how the blade life is on this beauty.
