As they say, "Good Grief Charlie Brown!" it's just a song.  He didn't appear to have a black eye, so my guess is it's just "talk!" or he hasn't sung it to a woman close up, yet.

And the ones that do get upset are usually card carrying members of the ACLU, NOW, DNC, or some other politically correct organization.

Yep. I know some people who like the singer but hate the song.
