Hey bro,  check this out  http://www.slybaldguys.com/smf/index.php?action=printpage;topic=6741.0

And hey once you try headslick be sure to then try bald guyz shave gel.  It's amazing!! Yeah I should try headslick sometime in the future because I haven't done so.   But bald guyz shave gel works perfectly fine for me so don't fix what ain't broken is what I'm following.

A bottle of HeadSlick will last you for months about 3 months if I recall correctly.

I think I'm about four months (at least) into my current bottle and there's probably a week's worth or so left.  And I use it on my head and face.  Need to get a replacement soon.

im not a fan of headslick AT ALL. ive only used it once (the night i cut my head badly) and i found it drys out way too fast. i was only halfway done with the top of my head by the time it dried out. i had to keep applying water.

I swear by the headslick.  Can't shave my head without it.  I'm running on about 5 months with my current bottle, but there's pretty much nothing left.  With a shave brush, a little will go a long way.

Hey Ghost bro, you must be crazy not to use headslick.   >:(  Well, I don't use headslick either so maybe I'm crazy too.  But here is the thing.   I use bald guyz shave gel and, yeah like you say with headslick, it dries out really fast.  So what I do is apply the shave gel let's say to the top part of my head only.  Every stroke or 2 I dip my left hand into some hot water and run those wet fingers on top of my head.   then I start shaving the top.  Once I am done with that, I apply bald guyz shave gel to the right side of my head.   Again after applying the shave gel I dip my left hand into some hot water and run those wet fingers on that side of my head and start shaving.   Once that's done I apply the shave gel to the left side of my head, and again dip my left hand in hot water & run wet fingers on that sideo of my head.  I do the same thing with the back of my head.    Try that with headslick.  I think it should work because even though I haven't tried headslick (why should I when bald guyz shave gel does all the miracles I need) it is probably similar in many ways.  I think you should give this a try.

Yeah, but that's the smell of no-added-fragrance. Which to me, is a good thing.

But I agree, it's not really that pleasant.

I have used them all, but prefer the King of Shaves alpha-gel.  I also found the drying-out effect of Head Lube.

After 24hrs my head feels like sandpaper. After using headslick. I was shocked, my head was still smooth in some spots.

When I first used headslick I had some issues with it drying out.  I was getting a few cuts to, I was not happy.  I think it might have been a bad batch, because now head slick is my preference for shaving my head.

Surprised about the comments on headslick drying out.
Something I've never noticed about it.

I have bought 1 bottle of this stuff and it was about a year and a half ago.  At the time I didn't think much of it.  Now that I have been using Bald Guyz shave gel and I can only get it online, I am thinking of giving it another shot.  I love the Bald Guyz gel but hate that I can only get it online.

Can anyone who has used both give me their opinion of each?

Yeah I'm still using my shaving brush with bald guyz shave gel.  It's amazing what a big difference a shaving brush makes.

I totally agree. Never liked Headslick until I brushed it up. Now it's amazing.

I was using headslick even before i started shaving my head because when I went to the store to get my usual shave gel, they were out, and i noticed they were out of a lot of stuff, and after asking somebody, i found out that the store was closing so i bought something frome the last remaining choices, headslick and I've used it almost every time I shave since then. I get it from Walmart now

There are TWO different versions of Headslick that Headblade came out with. I have both. One is thinner and one is thicker. Depending on which type you got could influence the results you get from the product. Also, I'm not sure which version is newer and which has been discontinued...

Been using Headslick for a long time and like it a lot.  Just started applying it with a shaving brush a few days ago and it is even more terrific.  Great close shaves and no longer need to use so much of it for a shave.  Lots was left on my hands when applying it without a brush.  Now a very little goes a very long way.  The brush makes a great lather.

PLUS, no one likes a bunch of shave cream all over your hands.
