Title: Idea to stay warm.....
Post by: GASlick on January 16, 2009, 10:06:00 PM
With the brutal cold snap going on I tried something today with my knit cap.  I ironed it right before I went outside today.  It was nice and warm.

Just a tip....

The heat from my head kept it warm after that.

Why not just put on radiator? Save getting the iron out  O0

I don't have a radiator.  Central heat here.  Same principle applies though.

I kinda think its funny. We had days with below 0 temps for awhile, non-stop snow, and everyone was getting cabin fever. Now we have above freezing highs and everyone else is freezing.

Normally what I do to stay warm is I put my clothes in the dryer the night before then when I wake up in the morning I run and turn on the dryer for a few minutes and grab my clothes out of it while they are still hot and then go out and do chores and warm the truck up before work.
