Well men, I finally did it. I shaved my head completely bald!What a rush, I can't believe I did it. I actually really like it although I feel the beard kinda looks unbalanced.Hopefully I can get used to it or adjust it.I cut the hell out of my head though and don't know what I should put on it. I'm gonna post a pic sometime tomorrow hopefully after my head heals up a bit.Thanks for all your support cause I would never have done this.Are thre any tips I should do for better shaving (I used a new razor and shave gel) and what should I be applying to my head afterwards?How often does one normally shave there head to maintain this look?Thanks in advance!

shave every other day or as often as you feel needed, and cutting urself is ok because ur head toughens up and gets used to it. the first few times shaving its sensitive.

hey chillpil5: welcome 2 the sly fraternity. glad that ya found us & glad that U R liking your new look. as far as your "cut"... as long as it stopped bleeding U should B okay. it will heal itself, just like as if U were shaving your face. keep us posted on all the reactions of your new look. O0

I'm not big on beards, but I'd say wear it like that for a few days, see what the ladies think, and then adjust it if you want.

yeah i fixed the beard up, I had planned too,those were taken right after I shaved my head so I didnt touch the beard yet.Im kinda unsure about this look.I like it but at the same time have worn a hat all day..I dunno if Im gonna keep it or not, Im afraid waht my work is gonna say when I go in Monday (I work in a dental office). Im not worried about them saying i cant be bald, thats not an issue, just worried about comments, its a staff of 99% woman.

That's one thing you have on your side. Women love when you mix it up. It's the guys that usually have the most comments, because suddenly there's a dude with confidence to scalp himself, and now they have competition!

When I sported the sly look, most women liked it (sadly, the #1 woman in my life didn't, which is why I now sport a #1 buzz cut).

My hair had been falling out for years. I told the wife that I was going to shave it before I was 60 or before I lost my mind and did the comb-over thing. Had the wild hair to do the SLY thing two years ago at 56. It is the best thing I have ever done. I also have a beard, mostly gray now but only during the winter (work outside in construction and it helps break the wind). Summer I go with the goat-tee look.
Man just do what feels good for you!

Looks good to me bro. I say its a keeper. Many different beard styles out there....is there a wrong or right?? nah...just go with what you feel is good. Try different styles though....doesnt take long for beard to grow back in.
