... Most Haunted Live on television in the US? There is a 7 night special on this week. And do you beleive in poltergeists/the paranormal?
-
My wife loves those kind of shows. I'm not sure if we get that particular one or not, but if we do, I'm sure she'll watch it. I don't necessarily believe in anything supernatural or paranormal, but she sure does.
-
My wife is a TAPS fan that does research of the paranormal. While I do belive in angels as well as demonic spirits, I'm not sure about the whole ghost thing.

I don't believe, but one experience of a good friend of ours is curious. She's a CPA, and several years ago she was getting ready to move into a new office but as luck would have it the building wasn't ready yet and it was tax season. I have an efficiency apartment in the backyard, and we don't rent it out any more. We offered it to her to get her over the tax season. And this is what she said she experienced one day working there. She said she looked out the window into the yard and saw our youngest daughter sitting on the steps of our house with a woman in a blue dress. The woman was talking to our daughter. Later, she took a break and asked our daughter who the woman was, answer, "There wasn't anyone here." Needless to say our friend was a little flipped out.
Our home was built in 1867 and has had many occupants. There was the woman who sold the property to the builder, and another woman, the widow of Prudent Mallard--a furniture builder in late 19th century New Orleans. She moved in when her husband died and she sold up his business that was in the French Quarter. Of course there were others, but I've wondered if our woman was either the owner who sold the property to the guy that built the house or the Veuve Mallard. Then there was another widow, Bronson, whose husband killed himself in the 1929 depression, and she ran a boarding house for several years before selling the house. The woman in the blue dress hasn't ever reappeared.
Do I believe, I don't know, but I don't think our CPA friend is the type to make the story up, I know she's not.

... Most Haunted Live on television in the US?
I don't know if it's the same series, but Yvette and her team can be seen Friday nights at 10 ET on the Travel channel.
The "Most Haunted USA" team investigates paranormal activity at Fort Delaware this Friday. Last week it was the New London Ledge Lighthouse.

that shows kind of cheesy. if you want the most "realistic" ghost hunting show watch "ghost hunters" s**** creepy.
-
The only thing I don't understand about those shows is why the night vision on my $300 DV camcorder is about 10 times better than on their professional equipment.

My great grandmother Hall was a woman not prone to alcohol. She lived in the old family home, built in 1828 - and in which all the owners have died (of natural causes). One morning, in the 1950's, she got up to go out to the kitchen, which was detached from the house. As she walked across the porch, a light came out of the kitchen, crossed the yard and road, then the field. She watched it go all the way to the family cemetery, where it disappeared. She never felt frightened, but always felt it was a "ghost".
I live in the "newer" old family home (it was built in 1895). One night, out of the corner of my eye, I saw the last owner walk down the hall. She had been dead for about a year.

Im a TAPS fan myself, used to be into most haunted but saw some behind the scenes stuff which proves that everything they show is made up, but its still pretty cool on how they make u think its real with their effects and stuff.

I am a TAPS fan... and believe that their are good and bad spirits. My wife and I have had some experiences.

I never believed in ghost etc. until about a year after my wife passed. The dog and I were on the couch when the dog went nuts. Out of the corner of my eye as saw a white form (blob) cross the room and out the back door. The pastor said it was my wife (who passed at home) telling me she was alright. Haven't seen her since.

That's crazy, Don. I believe it.
At age 17, I picked up a free couch from an elderly couple, who both had been previously widowed. Since they both came from past marriages, they had a bunch of unused furniture they needed to get rid of - hence the free couch.
I put that green beauty in my bedroom, under my window, and next to my bed. One night, after 3 months of owning the couch, I woke up abruptly. I didn't remember having a bad dream or anything, just woke up startled. I looked over to my right, and sitting on the couch, I saw the face of an old man, smiling. Big ol grin on this guys face - staring at me. I just got up and walked out of my room. That night, I was hoping that I was "just seeing things" - but it was too real to justify as my imagination. Anyway, that's my ghost story. Old man on the couch... I can only assume it was the lady's dead husband. He sure was happy. lol

This happened about 5 years ago.
A few months after my wife's mother died the two of us went upstairs to take a nap. We weren't laying down long when I felt what I can only describe as electricity that slowly went from my toes to my head. It took about a second or two and was quite startling. The dog lifted his head up about the same time I did and I said "did you feel that?". I look over at my wife and she's bawling her eyes out. It took a while to calm her down but to this day she insists it was her mother. Neither one of us visually saw anything and the feeling she got was completely different than what I felt. She gives so much detail to the feeling you'd swear it lasted 10 minutes. For me it was just this 2 inch thick "wall" of electricity that went up my body.
Ghost? My wife says so. Insists. As for me, I have no choice but to say it was simply an unexplained phenomenon. The dog still won't talk about it.

Awesome experience and sorry for laughing but the thought of the dog not wishing to discuss it was helluva funny to me.

Wow. Cool experiences!
