Title: Headblade position
Post by: Alexander215 on January 07, 2009, 10:20:22 PM
I know the headblade has a ring and everything but how many of you actually use [hold] it? I hold my headblade on the sides, I've even gone so far as to take my dremel to it and install rubberised grips on either side so it doesn't slip.

I slide my headblade on my middle finger and find I have great control.   I have never had a problem shaving with it that way.  I would think that holding it by the sides would be setting yourself up for digging into the scalp and it would be hard to control the pressure.

Like Paul, I use the ring on my middle finger.

I've never dug my scalp at all, except maybe the first week or three I started shaving

I use it on my finger except for the side of my head, then I hold it by it's sides. I'm a hybrid-style shaver!  O0
