I just realized that one year ago today I joined SBG!!!! I had already been shaving for about 6 months when I joined but I still learned an awful lot when I found this site.
Thanks to all the guys that I've "met" on here that I now consider my "friends". I'm hoping to meet some of you guys this year at SLYBaldCon 2009.
I couldn't post this without also thanking Tyler for this great Forum where helping people, making friends, and having a little fun are all possible.

SCORE on both counts O0
I would suggest Ketel One, rocks, twist and as far as the CD goes, either "License to Chill" or the "Bars" CD from JB's box set "Boats, Beaches, Bars & Ballads".

Quick story (with a tie-in to Stevie Ray)....way back when, I did the taxes for Blues Legend John Lee Hooker. It was back in 1990 or 1991. As we were riding down the elevator after our meeting, I asked him if he had heard that SRV died in a helicopter accident. He said (in his gruff voice) "Yeah I heard that....man I was pissed. Stevie and I were getting ready to cut an album then the sumbitch done up and died on me".
I'll never forget that quote.
It was cool, the CPA firm I worked for did the accounting for an agency in San Francisco that represented Bonnie Raitt, Los Lobos and (one of my favorites), Robert Cray....got to meet RC back stage. Very humble man.
Sorry to hijack your anniversary thread, Mike.

Congrats, time flys. Did you visit here or do any other bald net research before going sly? You may have already posted the experience, but what was the immediate cause of applying the blade?

The blade was applied thanks to Mother Nature. I'm from a long line of MPB on Dad's side of the Family.
I had been buzzed to a #1 for about 6 years before I finally shaved it all off. I had talked about shaving it off for about a year. My wife actually gave me the nudge to do it...... she has an Uncle and a Cousin that have shaved their heads for years so iut wasn't a big at all for her. She LOVES my shaved head.
I've never regretted shaving my head.... not for a second.
I'd been shaving my head for about 6 months when I found SBG. I was just surfing the net one day and found SBG. Man what a great find. There a lot of great guys of all ages, ethnic backgrounds, social backgrounds, and places around the world.
I love SBG.............
