F!@m Hi Guys!
Fireman Dave (aka Cap'n Noodles) here from Metairie, Louisiana, (suburb just outside the city of New Orleans)
26-year veteran of the fire service; 2 month member of the "scalp club" for men - and I absolutely love it!!!
Took my son to get his haircut for school one day, and I was the one who came back home looking like a skinless sausage - LOL. My wife and 6 year old daughter had a severe case of disbelief at first, but now my sleek new look seems to have grown on them. O0
Nothing would please me more than to NOT have to shave the ol' noggin EVERY SINGLE DAY, but it's the only way I can keep 'meself shaved to the bone; looked into the nair-type products to eliminate/delay regrowth, but they all seem to list having "skin graphs" as the final step in the process @nn!3
But I am extremely happy to have stumbled across this forum. I can sense that the info I can gather here about my "new-found flesh" will be both informative ~Z) as well as entertaining. !B@

PS. Having trouble posting a photo here. Will work on it and post one asap either here or in the members photo section

Nice story Noodles! Stay away, far far away, from the Nair though, it's not meant for the head! You're gonna have to scrape it everyday to keep it smooth. Welcome to the forums though, look around, you'll see a lot of good info.

Welcome Dave! I use a product that is supposed to slow beard/hair growth that might help you get to an every other day head shave.
It's called Firefighter Plus (I'm not kidding) it should work even better for you ^-^

Thanks for the info, Red. Sounds like a winner!

PS: After making above post, went to the website and ordered the product. Will give it a try and see what gives. ...Anything - and i do mean ANYTHING has to be more "scalp friendly" than Nair-like products (LOL)

If nothing else, I think you'll like the soothing quality and fragrance of the product. It's expensive, but a little goes a long way.

Wecome Noodles! One question, where do you keep the Everreadys. Last time I saw a shine like that it came from a flashlight. lol. Pineville is right across the Red River from Alexandria. My birthplace. You know what you call a coona-- that moves to Texas?- A Halfa--. Not to funny but true.
