Title: I tried an electric shaver.....

....and it worked out well.

I decided to see how long it'd take to take a days growth down smooth. I didn't set a timer but it took about 25 minutes and it's smooth as a razor shave, even smoother around the crown where I usually have to shave in 10 different directions and end up with bad razor burn.

I used a cheap Braun shaver that I had in a box for a few years, any recommendations for an upgrade?

When I'm not using a Mach 3, I use my Panasonic ES8109. In fact, I use it most days to shave my head and I am quite satisfied with the results. I use it in the shower and my head is smooth without irritation.
